I had 0 issues booting this game up like I thought I would after what some have said. I got an error at 1st boot-up but didn't allow the old/outdated .NET Framework to install and it worked great when I tried to boot it up again which is good because: This game was a large part of my early adult life and it's awesome to get to play it again. I didn't even know they made a 2nd one until today and I'm for sure picking that up3 found this helpful

Toy Soldiers is a legitimately fun tower defense game. The animations are fun, the ability to take control of individual units is super cool, and the gameplay is honestly really good. Unfortunately, now it is near impossible to launch on modern systems. If you have an older or lower core system, you may be able to play it; if the ghost of gfwl doesn't try to stop you. But if you have a system with more than 6-8 cores, be ready for a lot of troubleshooting that may not even get the game to run.
