Thrilling Tactical Combat and Story
The year is 1995, only a couple of years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and Russia is trying to recollect all of its past scientific endeavors and research located in the new post-soviet states. The Object 1611 laboratory located in the Soldanesti district in Moldova has suffered from an anomalous malfunction that has caused contamination of the Soldanesti Containment Zone, radiation leaks, and a containment breach of live soviet experiments into the surrounding area.
Containment Zone is a hardcore, tactical, realistic RPG looter shooter set in a fictional post-apocalyptic scenario in the Soldanesti District of the Republic of Moldova where the player takes the role of Vadim Volkov, a civilian who must plunder and fight his way through escaped mutant experiments, zombies, and military private contractors to reveal the truth about the Object 1611 disaster and find and save his sister, one of the scientists working within underground lower levels of the Object 1611 laboratory.

I am Vlad Bondarenco, a high schooler, and part-time game developer, and Containment Zone is my debut game release on steam. Containment Zone has been in the works for about 2 years now as I have been learning Unity Game Engine and C#, and I hope you enjoy!

This game is amazing i cant believe that it was made by just one high school student. This game is better then alot of the AAA trash they have been releasing recently.14 found this helpful
I played the demo for this a while back durin' next fest. It seems to have been improved since then, It features voice over work which isn't bad. The exploration aspect is there. The combat is solid enough as well. I like the inventory system. Somethin about hearin' a bag open and close. There is a story at play here about discoverin' secrets revolving around a hidden laboratory. There are some issues of course such as zombies bein able to attack ya thru walls etc. It may be a bit pricey for some but this is one of the more solidly put together games from a solo dev. I love how I keep getting killed by an invisible enemy in this bunker that no matter how many times I spray the room, he is still there. What road am I supposed to be on to advance because I surely can't find it. The game is super janky. Too bad a can't get a refund because I am still trying to shoot this invisible soldier!5 found this helpful
