fun game. good to hop onto.. ONLY downside to being on linux you need to verify files after every game due to anitcheat folder not working right (the atmosphere unintentionally gives off jp vibes)
good game, its pretty unoptimized and missions are poorly made but the gameplay is solid
Ive tried many looter/shooter games and not too many check the boxes this game does. If you want PvP its there, but i focus on pve and have had nothing but fun. The combat feels amazing with a good group and the health system is really cool. I would really give it a try if you are into military shooters or extraction looter shooters.
I hoped to enjoy this game as a "Tarkov PVE Lite". It is not that. I am not impressed with the simple and buggy state of the game 2 years after release. AI enemies are tanky and dumb to the point that the bit of combat I experienced was just not rewarding or fun. I bought a few items from traders, tried those items out on a mission, logged out, logged back in, and all the stuff I bought was gone along with the money I used to purchase it. Maybe it will be better in a couple more years...but I don't have my hopes up.
Great game. Can't wait to see want 1.0 looks like!
