This game is a more simpler version of dungeons of eternity. Its combat is a never ending march forward of combat. You keep fighting until you die. As you unlock weapons along the way, when you restart a match, you can use your currency to buy higher tier level weapons you unlocked during your previous run. It is a bit annoying that you get no weapon for your left hand. I say the most unique thing about this game is it has a mix of slashing motion patterns to give you extra damage effects kind of like beat Saber When hitting enemies in certain patterns . Great music . Cool environment. Personally, I like to have my dungeons to have a beginning and end rather than an endless March, so that part I would say was my least liked. The game is definitely a lot better with other players.

Man, this game has been so cool. I got a buddy to play with so I haven't experienced running into other players yet but it's been a frickin blast. Don't let the look of combat fool you, this shiz gets intense quick. Exploring off the beaten path is not just recommended but required to meet your potential. Im sure once I figure out the deeper mechanics of blocking, some things will get easier but I don't expect it wont be a challenge to face a group and missing a single block hurts. The little details in the world and forest are implemented so amazingly. This really is worth the 10 bucks.

I really wanted to like this game. The whole vibe of it is really great and there are some interesting concepts in the game, but it is held back by a lot of different things. First of all, the game is really janky. The combo system relies on you striking in a specific pattern, but the game does a bad job of noticing what strike you did, so the whole thing is very frustrating. In particular, the bat is pretty much impossible to get a combo with due to how bad it is at detecting the direction of a hit. I've also encountered numerous bugs. I've been softlocked multiple times by getting stuck in geometry, the targeting on the lift spell is completely off, and the area music gets messed up if you continue from a save point. The crush and lift spells are also really difficult to trigger for whatever reason, the push spell is the only one that always works. Enemy variety is really bad. 99% of the enemies are just trolls and spear trolls, even in the later areas. All of the "new" enemies are just the bosses with lower health. On the plus side, the atmosphere is really good; I like the music and the boss fights were pretty fun. All this game really needs is a patch to fix the jankiness…

Didn't find other players which seems to be the main premise of this game. I am disappointed by the melee system having been spoiled by half a dozen other VR games (Karnage Chronicles, Until you fall, Gorn, ...) Not being able to play as a mage or archer due to 2 magic casts and 5 arrows seems like a mis too imo. Buy with your overly co-dependent friend group. Otherwise check out other stuff.
