To start this off, I think anyone who has reviewed this negatively has done a massive disservice to the game and has made it painfully clear how many people are incapable of reading. This game is not finished, this isn't a point of contention and shouldn't be a reason for a negative as the VERY FIRST THING that the game shows you is that it's at version .4 of early access. A 2 second gate to provide information that will allow you to refund the game if that is an issue for you. An issue that is defendable as the developers ran out of money and quit while the last person on the teams family member got blood cancer, a tragedy that is more than enough of an excuse to explain the unfinished state. Beyond this there is a profound amount of criticism that extends to things such as not knowing what things do, how the level up and stat system works, how dying affects things, when not only is there a tip system when loading that you can scroll through that explains every mechanical option given to the player and explains it in the utmost depth, every time you go to the hub there is a GIANT KEYBOARD AND CONTROLLER SYMBOL that you can select that shows you all the controls. It's a fine game, the combat needs a little more work. Great touch by giving all the 3 playable characters a unique dodging animation: jump forward, jump up and rolling.1 found this helpful
It's an unfinished game with souls combat and unique character skills, blended with roguelite elements. Sounds like a cash grab with those tags, but its not. Each part of the game's design is well thought out and allows for some unique runs you wouldn't normally find in a souls-like game. And unlike nightreign, you can take your time to thoroughly explore the level. It's not as polished as a triple A fromsoft game, but it has a retro PS1/PS2 charm to it. Worth it imo, kinda wish the game was finished. Would've become one of my most favorite games to re-play.1 found this helpful

This game feels like it was made for Playstation 2 but in a very wholesome and endearing way.
A good example that you need more than just good ideas to make a game. Only buy at 3$ or less, it's not worth it otherwise. Janky movement and combat, anoying enemies who all do hitstun, bosses with instakills. This is jank central with some otherwise enjoyable mechanics
