KAMGUSTA'S MINI REVIEW It's more of a puzzle game, you have to defeat enemy warriors with yours. It becames a mess when having to manage multiple units at the same time. Graphics is terrible. Not so bad, but not nice. Best played with keyboard & mouse Recommended buy price: 1$ Score: 5/10

I want to like this, I really do. But the challenges basically boil down to "we put all these fun mechanics in front of you... but go suck korb's knob, cause we don't want to let you use them all at once." The controls aren't intuitive when I need to try and measure out my troops mid-fight while the computer can basically perform mitosis on the battlefield. Speaking of the computer, if it doesn't like the path enough, it won't play. You can awkwardly stall the enemy out because they'll decide "no this path isn't to my liking i'll just run in a circle" or "what if i just keep rotating between the two potential paths because there's vikings on both sides?" _*_*_ 2/5 stars. I'm off to be a pirate instead.

Definitely not worth full price. Feels like an incomplete mobile game port. The controls are not as smooth as they should be given how simple they are. The levels are puzzle-like which in itself isn't a bad thing, but it's not actually very fun finding the best solutions.

After finishing all campaigns, I can say that Crush Your Enemies is a genuinely fun game. However, whether it truly qualifies as an RTS is something I'll come back to later. Let's start with the presentation. The pixel-art style looks fantastic, the artwork is full of personality, and the campaign dialogue is filled with silly humor and unfiltered language that fits the game's chaotic atmosphere. The sound effects are satisfying too, from the fighting noises to corpses flying across the battlefield. The music is enjoyable, although there are only a handful of tracks, so it can become repetitive during longer play sessions. As for the gameplay, it is straightforward and easy to understand. Unfortunately, that simplicity also means there are not many different ways to approach missions. Throughout the campaigns, I was usually able to complete most challenges and collect nearly all available skulls. However, I did encounter a few frustrating bugs. In some missions, objectives would not register even after I had clearly captured every building. There were also challenges that felt unreasonable, such as requiring a hero to kill 150 enemies while simultaneously keeping specific units a…

The command interface is extremely uncomfortable to use and often unresponsive. A lot of the more difficult levels are annoying chasing of perfection that is the opposite of fun. One wrong click or being slightly late and your game is screwed. The experience is actually much worse than what the footage would show because you do not get how much pain and trying goes into making good things happen. The enemy can manage multiple units at the same time without problems while you have to pray that the one you are commanding does not mess up too badly. At least there are a lot of levels - if you like suffering.
