Cursed Pantsu is a weird, small-scale indie action-adventure that fully commits to its absurd premise. You play as Kaori, who ends up trapped in a surreal “Hellish Mall” after a bad decision, and the game mixes exploration, combat, and platforming while pushing you forward with a simple mystery. It’s rough in places, but it has personality. The strongest part is the atmosphere: the mall feels unsettling and dreamlike, with a constant sense that something is off. It leans into dark comedy and creepiness at the same time, which makes even basic corridors feel tense. The vibe is memorable enough that I kept exploring just to see what the next area would throw at me. Combat is straightforward but demands attention, with enemies that can punish sloppy movement. Fights often feel like quick “learn the pattern, don’t get greedy” encounters rather than flashy combos, and the game’s pacing benefits from that. One of the funnier twists is how resources and money are treated as real power, which fits the setting and gives the systems a consistent theme. Platforming and traversal break up the action and make the levels feel more like spaces than arenas. There are secrets and side paths wort…

The jank is half the fun..! psst hey...do you want to play a hateful little game where you play as a cute anime girl being punished for stealing panties? Do you wan't to play a game where "lock on" means locking on to furthest enemy that is the least threat? And trying to toggle between enemies just leads to you saying eff it i'll just toggle lock on and off and hope for the best? How about being tortured to endure countless jump puzzles where falling off everything can lead to death or just breaking progression? where enemies will gank you mercilessly while you flail with the slippery controls and useless lock on? Or maybe where the moves you gain by leveling up more often than not just lead to more wiffs than you can shake a control stick at...leading you to just poke all enemies to death. Yeah that sounds fun. A game where collecting anything is basically a result of you just happening to run into items and hoping to keep them on your frustrating 12th run through a stage that is not so much made to challenge you...but just outright frustrate you. It's a shame as the err...shameless story is giggle inducing and amusingly raunchy... well have fun!

What an unbelievably frustrating time this was. Navigating a maze of a mall with horrible platforming, what a joy.
