SUCCUBUS: Prologue

SUCCUBUS: Prologue is a deliberately provocative first-person action horror experience that places brutality, demonic fantasy, and disturbing imagery at the center of its identity. Developed and published by Madmind Studio, it serves as an introduction to the larger SUCCUBUS concept while offering considerably more substance than a simple demonstration. The package includes two main levels, an arena, a hub, character progression, equipment-related features, a bestiary, and other systems designed to show how the full experience is structured. My mouth dropped when she pulled the baby from the female's womb and proceeded to eat it.. Wow lol, along with that the game is fun and interesting with good hack & slash style.

It's a fun little demo, good enough to convince me I want the full game so it did its job. I'd been curious about these devs work for a while, having heard how nasty and replusive and ban-worthy Agony was when it came out even in its standard version, but also heard that game kinda sucked. So, Succubus got my attention a little bit later on. I read about how extreme some of the content was and decided to stay far away, but I never fully lost interest in it. When I noticed there was a demo available, this prologue, I was thrilled. I thought this would be the perfect way to find out if I could handle it or not, satisfy my curiosity once and for all. Either I'd be repulsed and the game was truly foul, or it'd be a goofy experience jazzed up by some nudity and over the top gore. If this demo is accurate to the final version, it is very much the latter. The healing animations are unpleasant but they're over quick, and it's something that honestly sounds worse when you read about it than it actually is in practice. The grafics look dated and the animations clunky but I enjoyed it despite of that. Looks like some small team who are doing their best. I am going to buy the full game for the great idea and to support the devs. Also, did I mention that I enjoyed it. We need more games like that.
