STEAM DECK SUPPORT INFORMATION This game partially supports Steam Deck. We are aware that currently UE5 causes major lack of video memory on such devices like Steam Deck that leads to constant crash when loading the main city map. There is a temporary solution for this. If you want to play our game on Steam device, then please use the UMA Frame Buffer Size set to 2 GB in the BIOS (Advanced tab). To access Steam Deck BIOS press and hold the Volume Up (+) button. While holding Volume Up, press and release the Power button. Keep holding Volume Up button and release it when the BIOS / Setup Utility appears on screen. Then go to Advanced settings tab, select the UMA Frame Buffer Size to 2 gb (or even 4 gb in case of any trouble) and start the game. This time the game will work decently without any crashes.

In other reviews, I wrote about how all the stuff adjacent to the core game can elevate mediocrity to excellence. The opposite is true: All the supporting assets can also lower a game into the basement. This game, this very game, is the poster child of being let down. Folks, I don't like leaving negative reviews, as a general rule. Games generally take a lot of work and parts of this look really nice. Rain-slicked streets really are moody, and that looked great. I have no idea how the car combat went, because I could not get that far. THAT is how strongly I felt about everything else in the game. I could not get to the part I bought the game for. There's a bunch of car systems that would make sense if you were super-duper-ultra into cars. A heater, which helps defrost the window. Windshield wipers (which would matter if you played in first person). A starter, though you just tap it and the engine comes on. But are we dealing with an eye towards realism? No, no we are not. I accidentally hit some pedestrian goober standing in the middle of the street, blasting off with his gun. And I bounced off him. My armed and armoured taxi bounced off a man. In another case, sp…

God no. I thought it would be okay but its pretty janky. Even after shader compilation on a high end system it has quite the stutter. Physics don't exist. Combat is pretty harsh. The voice lines are very subpar. The story is so so. It needs to bake another year or two.

I dunno what the devs might thing. This game has been suffering from game breaking bugs since months. Still! The game and menu controls still don`t work (yes, I`ve tried the workarounds!) Neither WASD, PS or XBOX controller can make the car move. Major mouse curser issue in the ingame option menu. Refunding. Probably hopeless.

I like what they got going! but as it is, it still needs more work. It's kinda like that old school PC game Quarantine, needs more punk rock music

CyberTaxi: Lunatic Nights is a distinctive blend of futuristic taxi driving, open-world exploration, and first-person action that sets itself apart by combining several genres into one cohesive experience. Developed and published by Hed Media Games, the game transports players to Prison City, a sprawling cyberpunk metropolis where corruption, crime, and violence dominate everyday life. You assume the role of a taxi driver whose seemingly routine job gradually transforms into a dangerous mission to uncover the truth behind the wrongful imprisonment of his sister. This narrative gives purpose to the game's wide variety of activities while establishing a gritty atmosphere reminiscent of classic science fiction films and action thrillers. The game's greatest strength lies in its richly designed cyberpunk environment. Prison City is filled with towering neon skylines, abandoned districts, industrial complexes, underground passages, and hazardous neighborhoods that constantly encourage exploration. Rather than serving as a simple backdrop, the city feels alive with random encounters, unusual passengers, and hidden locations waiting to be discovered. Every journey has the potential to ev…
