calming building game, very dictive and just super realxing if you want to just space out
Review: Love this one. Very relaxing, mellow soundtrack, and pleasant voxel art style that really melds everything in the game together beautifully. A lot of city builders go for a more realistic art approach and occasionally it can make things look out of place or ugly. I really enjoy the aesthetic in Town to City. Also! I love that if I want I can switch to first person and just walk around my little town. Very fun. Hopes for the future: My only gripe besides only having a few map layouts is the controls for brushes, specifically. I have tried, but couldn’t get my ideal control scheme to work for brush size (ctrl + mouse scroll). It is mildly infuriating to press a different keyboard key when I just want to quickly change brush size. But if that’s my only gripe, I think it’s fair to say this is a fantastic cozy game. I assume that’s not too difficult for the team to add in the future. I know I’ll be at 100+ hours in no time at all lol.

A cozy city builder with cute graphics, and a less strenuous focus on resource management when compared to some city builders. With a low mental load, this game is great for destressing before bed or after a day at work. With a sandbox mode, there's endless possibilities, especially with the freedom of decoration. All in all, the game is well rounded as a 1.0 release, and something I fully recommend for fans of cozy games, city builders, or anyone just looking for a laidback gaming experience. GRAPHICS ★★★★★ (5/5) ☾ ˖°˖☆ ˖°˖☽ One of the draws of Town to City was the voxel graphics. Minimal and cute, it has a distinctive art style that I feel sets it apart from other games within the genre. Very addicting especially if you like cozy city builders. I like that its a city builder that isnt too complex.
A very good city management/tycoon game, with a few flaws here and here — most notably: some performance issues, the management of the bourgeoisie, and the requirements for additional cities (for farming and tourism). The second one is tied to the necessity of having that kind of citizen to unlock certain structures and to continue the game, forcing the player to have rich citizens who do not work (except in some specific "late-game" structures). The third one, is the need to halt the construction of your main city to restart the whole thing twice to make a farm and a tourist city in order to unlock more things in your main city as well. Aside those issues, the game is fun, beautiful to see, and has many features.
