This game had so much potential, its clear that some graft has gone into it and I had fun in the time I was playing it. It just didn't feel finished or complete, this game needs some improvements to justify the £20 It now appears abandoned now, which is a real tragedy5 found this helpful
Abandonware. Do not buy unless heavily discounted. Worth about 5 to 10 dollars. It sucks as it had a ton of potential to be really good. One of those games that should have been popular but just never caught on. It's tragic.2 found this helpful
I know 4 hours is not a lot of time to give a game. But It is slow in a bad way. I do not think this is a bad game just a bad fit for me. Pros -It is well made, I have ran into no bugs. -Most combat is Slow enough that there is no hard micro. -You can play it faster than I do. I full maxed just to see on most missions. Graphics are good. -If I had to describe it, Warcraft 3 Combat, with a really slow and micromanagy base building. So -My complaints are probably the Minority I do suggest giving it the 1.9 hour try if it looks appealing. - I am glad to see orcs be Actual Villains Instead of Misunderstood/Quirky/enslaved Hippies, I want to just take a moment and say Frik you Warcraft 3 Orcs. Frik yeah Angry Evil Orcs that I can slaughter... In the numbers of 10 at a time.... Well its no horde of them but ok. Cons -It takes forever to gather resources. I have played 4 hours and am only marginally through the campagin, not because of difficulty, but because of just slowness to gameplay. You want to harvest Ore, I have eight people harvesting ore and it takes then 40 minutes to harvest enough ore to fully equip half my army with armor. I maxed out my ore harvesting to …1 found this helpful
what is there is fun but unpolished my review is only negative because it is obvious the dev's have abandoned it
it works i guess
Its not for me as I was hoping for a game more like They are Billions. However this game is much closer to Warcraft 3 imo. Small armies (max 20) limited building options and small fights. The fights feel mostly like wc3 creeping but instead of another player your competing against time. The campaign is very short and story is not great, but missions take a long time. The primary game mode is about getting the highest score you can on maps. I'm torn, giving a thumbs down because its not for me seems a bit harsh so I'm giving it a thumbs up because I could see a wc3 fan enjoying it.
