About City Defense Z
What you do during the day pays off at night: gather resources, place buildings, merge structures, trade resources, choose your NPCs wisely, send them on expeditions, deploy soldiers, merge units, and position your troops strategically. Factory Buildings: Produce the main resource you need to build and upgrade your base.
Ammunition Buildings: Create ammo for soldiers, defenses, and special attacks.
Barracks Buildings: Train new soldiers every cycle.
Laboratory Buildings: Generate research points for permanent upgrades that carry over between runs.
House Buildings: Increase population limit, allowing you to grow your army.
Merge-Based Building System: Soldiers and buildings automatically merge when placed smartly on the grid.
When night falls, don’t give up if your strategy isn’t working. You still have tricks: call in airstrikes and collect boosters to power up the defense units you placed during the day.
Lost a run? It’s time to come back stronger. Spend the research points you’ve earned, pick the permanent upgrades that match your strategy, and try again. Each run, you’ll get better than the last. Permanent Meta Progression: 13 research trees providing persistent upgrades.
13 Research Trees: Choose upgrade paths trough 150+ meta upgrades that complement your playstyle.
Constant combat, constant adrenaline! As you defend your city, the action never slows down for a second. Build your strategy and stay in control in the heart of the battle.

Game is easy and repetitive. Its fun in the first hour then you do the same thing for hours and hours until the goal is done. Few units, few mechanics, few strategies.
Each mission takes hours upon hours, with no way to save in the middle so you can actually go about life. On top of that, every mission is pretty much identical. Just wave after wave, all the same. Rebuild the fence, place the troops, merge the troops, drag and drop the troops... for 4+ hours straight. I'm on the 4th mission which I believe requires you to get to 100 days. I'm at day 30 and it's been about 2 hours, this is ridiculous.
Really enjoyed the merge mechanic for soldiers and buildings. I liked trying to figure out the right defense to make progress with the permanent bonus system. This was fun enough for me to get all the achievements. If they do another one of these with a different theme, I would definitely buy it.
This one is a grindy sob if you want to last in it, but it is so well done. To me it is a bit grindy to get to a point where you can establish a good base but its great fun after you get some turrets running! It has a superb soundtrack, great visuals and that "I will do one more run vibe". Go for it. This is worth your bucks!
Looks promising but tutorial is difficult to follow. I was hoping this would be much better!
Fajna gra. Uczy myślenia i planowania ;)
