Great little RPG, very surpsrising that it hasn't spawned a speedrunning community with all the opportunities for minmaxing. Definitely a product of its time, but in a charming way. Highly recommended, especially for the price!1 found this helpful

Decent game. Doesn't take itself seriously and a little on the easy difficulty side.
Fantastic aesthetic, writing, simple and fun gameplay. Enough quirks and character to make it unique and worth seeking.
This is a one-of-a-kind roleplaying game. There are times when you have no choice but to fight, but the times when you can act to avoid fights or alter the battle before it starts are really amusing. There are times when you're rewarded for playing the game like a game and there are times when you're rewarded for taking matters seriously. I don't expect that this game warrants more than one playthrough, but it's a fun story with fun characters and elements that take advantage of and sometimes rewards individual curiosity. I wish beyond reasonable hope that another game with the kind of thoughtful design this exhibits will be made.
