horrible game that for some reason only mentions English as the only language in the game store page but when I started it all the menu items and so on were in English but for some reason the notes are in Korean and google translate doesn't help and I can't progress not sure why the dev thought it was a good idea to do this but the game looked like it would be fun if I could actually understand whats going on edit: the game is pretty bad with performance issues but the worst is the fact that the zombies spawn in front of you as well as behind giving you no chance to react. I have no idea why something like that was considered a good idea. Adding onto this the level design based on what I went through was pretty bland as it felt copy paste in design and you are basically doing the same thing over and over again with the generators moved around and you have to turn them on in the right order or have to back track. to make things worse if you die you have to start from the beginning again so yeah this isn't the game for me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpApDbsY_e4

Please fix some bugs so that I can finish the game. I cannot proceed further at a certain point. (1) Whenever I died, the game starts from the beginning. But, it seems like the game has savedata in the directory of AppData/Local/DarkAndLight/Saved/SaveGames/SaveGame.sav. Is it a bug that the progress is not saved ? (2) The game provides some hints during the play, but they are written with Korean. It would be good to check your resources and change the text as English. (3) At the point right after taking a shotgun, I cannot proceed further due to lots of enemies. I spent all of ammos (about 50 shells) and med kits, but the enemies kept being spawned. Eventually, the enemies surrounded and killed me. There was no option for me to clear that section. I will play again when you fix the bugs above later. Hope the game be better soon.

Dark and Light is a game I found pretty fascinating because it tries to combine so many different survival ideas into one fantasy world. I play as an explorer trying to survive on Archos, where magic, dangerous creatures and extreme environments are all part of everyday life. I really liked the sense of freedom because there is no single way I have to approach the world. I can explore, gather resources, craft, build, fight or spend my time learning how the magical systems work. The survival mechanics are familiar but satisfying. I need to find food and water, gather materials and make the equipment I need to survive. Building is a big part of the experience too, and I enjoyed having the freedom to create a home in unusual locations. The world gives me plenty of reasons to keep exploring because different areas contain different resources, creatures and environmental dangers. It feels rewarding when I find a useful location and turn it into a base of operations. Magic is easily one of my favorite parts of the game.
