For the love of God, make the names and pronouns consistent. Lint and Sorachi are referred by at least 3 different names and constantly mix using he/him/his with she/her/hers. Even the protagonist and proper nouns (like the name of a bridge or the city itself) aren't consistent. Far as the story itself... meh. Maybe it was the subpar translation, but it just wasn't all that gripping or engaging. Too much setup and plodding around with very little payoff, and only in one of the endings at that.6 found this helpful
