Demonheart: The Cursed Trial

I genuinely love every Demonheart game with all my heart and jumped with joy when I finally could snatch this one on sale ♥ (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) It definetly didnt dissapoint, both Ran and Kaiser are interesting [strike](and handsome)[/strike] LI's and the story is really intriguing imo [spoiler]ESMIUS MENTIONED IM IN HEAVEN[/spoiler] also Vita my beloved <3

I wasn't really expecting anything INSANELY good from this game but genuinely it's story premise and characters are endearing (besides the Protag she just a little freaky) I can't stand playing and I need to find EVERY ENDING TO IT IMAGINABLE! Thank you to the developer for making such an interesting turn of event game with MANY MANY choices and so much replayability it's kinda insane...

Was it better than the 2 first demonheart game ? No. Was it better than the demon heart Ice demon? Hell yeh. The only 2 romance choice are lowkey lame. And the protagonist was also lowkey lame but atleast I really liked the story not gonna lie, but I would not get this game full price. Just do like me and wait atleast a -50%. Hopefully the next games coming will just get better and better. I'll be still supporting just not full price. Nobody will ever be as good as bright and Brash.

I enjoyed the game overall, but I'll confess I found the main character a bit damsel-ish and the romance options beyond lackluster. The alignment system also seemed a little...simplistic. Sure you can be "evil," but that doesn't mean carving out your lover's heart for power, it is just being edgy and mean.

I wouldn't call this the best otome I have ever played, but I'm so happy I found one that has a love interest that looks unconventional and is a bastard and doesn't hide it. It's SO my niche of guys I like that isn't used often enough. Gonna try to keep this spoiler free with one or two exceptions. I quite enjoyed it despite it sometimes feeling like the story was a bit meh and slightly convolutes and some choices lead nowhere, but it seems like it's the first game with this amount of endings and choices from this studio from my research so I will consider it a great first try! I find the whole idea of being stuck in a demon's game and knowing that someone WILL die no matter what is always an interesting one, like I said the story isn't the best of the best, but it's serviceable for this type of game and I still found it quite engaging, the twists got me so surprised and feeling a little stupid that I didn't realize the hints on subsequent playthroughs. There was one that I guessed for dumb reasons, it was [spoiler]that Kaisar was the red-feathered assassin due to a mention of the assassin having sharp teeth and the comment about his upper body having some muscle when the mc is nur…

I loved it. I hadn’t realized just how much I missed the Demonheart universe until I returned (felt so nostalgic). I really enjoyed the comeback of the personality system and the wide range of dialogue options. While I did appreciate the previous game, The Ice Demon, it felt more restrictive in terms of responses. Also, I’m happy to hear more from Raze’s voice actor (and Raze, obviously)
