✦ AI summary
Players criticize Destruction Paper for poor technical execution, including lack of resolution options and graphics settings that don't guarantee proper display scaling across different PCs. The game's simplistic 2D art style is frequently compared unfavorably to low-effort mobile or Flash games, with additional complaints about broken achievements and overall gameplay quality, though a few appreciate its art direction despite these shortcomings.
"Destruction Paper" is a really badly made 2D retro "paper art" (aka lazy garbage) platformer shooter. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The game features somewhat lazy, simplistic 2D graphics, of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The implementation here is of such poor quality, the developer couldn't work out how to make the game display in fullscreen, it only runs in a window. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. Awful 2d platformer. Dont bother, its garbage. Achievements dont work. Im on a quest of at least trying every game in my library, of which I got plenty from all kinds of bundles, not all though. If you are interested in my journey, check out my other reviews :)
