Dis The Game is a compact, free-to-play 2D platformer that embraces internet culture, streamer references, memes, and intentionally absurd humor instead of attempting to deliver a traditional platforming epic. Released on February 18, 2021, the game was developed by Leaf and published by DisStream. Its entire concept revolves around Polish streamer DisStream, turning personalities, jokes, gaming references, and recognizable moments associated with that community into the foundation of an interactive adventure. The story establishes its unusual personality immediately. Players follow Dis on a mission to rescue Kiara after she is taken by a mysterious kidnapper. What initially resembles a straightforward rescue scenario quickly becomes considerably stranger, as Dis must deal with the Bot Of Legends plague, troublesome players attacking from behind, and ultimately the mysterious JD sect. Familiar personalities such as Nervarien, Kubon, Arquel, and Kiara are incorporated into the adventure, reinforcing the impression that the game was primarily designed as a celebration and parody of a specific Polish streaming community.
