DOLL EYE: CHAPTER ONE is the first part of a dialogue-based, story-driven psychological horror game made in RPG Maker MZ.

Tomorrow is the anniversary of your son's death, but you can't let that distract you from your everyday life.
Your daughter has just sent you a message asking you to pick her up near that one shark dude's bar. Worry not - your guardian angel can keep you company... Wait, who the hell is that?

I didn't quite know what to expect beyond the artstyle and wow i'm thoroughly impressed by the storytelling and the dynamics characters have, really adds to the psychological horror within Alfred's mind. edit: At least i would be saying that if it weren't for what i just saw and i don't think i want to support something like this in the future.4 found this helpful
Boring as hell and made by a vile person. The gameplay even for a RPG maker game is boring with a story that does not make up for it, and the music is mind numbing. The only good thing about this game is the artwork, but when the artwork is made by a person who was talking about sexual and fetish crap with minors and even sending nsfw drawing to them. If this game had any chance of being expanded on and it's story being finished, the dev has utterly pissed it away. Never come back Twisted Doctor.2 found this helpful
RPG Maker strikes again! "DOLL EYE: CHAPTER ONE" is one of hundreds of low effort RPG Maker kitbashes spamming the store. This is notable because instead of being a pure asset flip like most of the RPG Maker kitbashes are, made up of stock RPG Maker assets the "developer" just copy + pastes + puts their own name on, this instead has completely bespoke artwork. Artwork that was made in MS-Paint from the looks of it... it's hard to believe, but the artwork on this garbage is WORSE than the stock RPG Maker assets most people plagiarize. As with all RPG Maker games, this is the result of a really bad construction kit game engine being misused. Like all RPG Maker "games", it looks bad in fullscreen and lacks HD support or graphics options... RPG Maker's purpose is to let people who lack the talent to actually make real video games to make bad Final Fantasy ripoffs. This is not acceptable for modern PC gamers. The argument must be made that construction kit toys like RPG Maker are intended for making small games, toys and demos to pass around with friends, and should never be used as a substitute for professional game development. got this out of morbid curiosity but couldn't get past the characters just not good probably would have liked this as a kid but not so much now
this game is awesome i love it i cant wait for chapter 2 to release soon.. hopefully.. please?
I like the artstyle tbh, but the creator of this game is problematic so not touching the game :(
