Hello Charlotte is an episodic game, where each episode can be considered a separate story,
as they differ in storytelling style, themes and illustrations, but the characters stay the same.
This story, Hello Charlotte: Requiem Aeternam Deo, is the second installment of the Hello Charlotte series.

Hello Charlotte games:
- Hello Charlotte EP1 (2015) is a story about a memory of long-gone gods and loss of individuality, where your Puppet's new friend goes missing among the static.
- Hello Charlotte EP2 (2016) is a story lamenting the impossibility of universal happiness, and idolization of those out of our reach. As her mind unravels, ink will flow, and blood-red flowers will bloom in the desolate field.

a beautiful, sobering experience. this game doesn't try to impose any sophistry on you, there are no happy answers to your suffering or charlotte's. it's an incredibly nihilistic game, but a very gentle one all the same.1 found this helpful
"rejoice seth, this is my happy ending" ep1 was honestly kind of boring but ep2 made the entirety of ep1 worth it cant really describe this in words, gameplay is kind of complicated at times but there are checkpoints so you should be fine with exploring all of your options ive ought to play ep3 yet but alone by those two episodes my expectations are high

[/i] i have no words for what i just experienced. do i have any idea as to what i just witnessed? vague glimmers of possibilities, maybe. no actual comprehension of any of it. despite that, i loved every nonsensical minute. hello charlotte ep 1 & 2 are like if you took the headspace and blackspace portions of omori, threw in the bizarre and disorienting artistry of yume nikki, and then wrapped it up in metaphors so convoluted i genuinely spent half my time playing taking notes. if this appeals to you, you'll love these 2 games (i can't speak for the third, but i'm desperately looking forward to playing it). the best part of this series so far for me is, by far, its prose - there are so many gorgeous lines for you to sink your teeth into. the worldbuilding complements this perfectly, weaving a maze so everchanging and complex that, rather than feeling frustrated for getting lost in it, i found myself appreciating every time i did lose my bearings. and, of course, the characters are extremely e…
I AM REVIEWING ALL THE CHAPTERS OF THE GAME HERE, READ BELOW. RPGmaker horror game, has some nice moments and some not so nice ones. Chapter 1: RECOMMENDED. Kind of a really basic RPGm game but it has its charm and is special in some ways. Chapter 2: NOT RECOMMENDED. School simulator with pointless battles. Repetitive even if the story is better than the first's. Chapter 3: RECOMMENDED. Didn't play it on Steam but the story was really nice, the gameplay was better than in the other two IMO, the story was naturally better because it concluded.
