I tested the game for 10 minutes, it crashed, and now I can't log back in because it still thinks my account is in-game...
IF i would call it PURE DOG $h1t, then it would be a compliment!
Figured i'd try it out. The UI isnt appealing, clunky and perhaps several unnecessary steps to access things. Using the SAME points for stats and weapon/armor proficiency ... you're forced to go for weapon just to get something that does more 1 damage. My character got to lvl 6 or 7 sniper heavy, stats 0 points, 10 sniper and 7 heavy. Im sorry I don't like that my character is still ZERO STATS at lvl 7... I dont like spending points to unlock weapons and armor that should be used for stats. Terrible design, i played like an hour or so on the Tech side... then the game crashed, attempts to log back in say my character is already logged in. Ok Uninstall.
Basic, buggy, slow.... Pointless
I enjoyed it was a great blast from the past. I played 35 hours made it level 48. For replay value it would need more content
I've played much worse. I'll check back. It's a straight forward MMORPG with a very linear progression. Spiders drop shotguns and shields; it doesn't really make sense. All mobs seem to drop is player gear, which makes killing them feel pretty bland. It's easy enough to progress through the game and gameplay is intuitive. The whole experience is somewhat bland, however. It lacks the complexity and strategy that makes complex MMORPGs so much fun. There is a lot of build diversity, player races, etc., but the skills I tried all pretty much felt the same in terms of effectiveness. I tried the 2 magic skills and they were basically the same skill (I only made it to level 6). Defense seemed almost meaningless, because I could just attack and run away and attach with my ranged spells and everything runs at the same speed so nothing could catch me. This could probably be a good game with some more life skills and a lot more distractions from the very linear mob grind. Keybinds and control settings desparately needed. The game takes like 2 minutes to load up for some reason; I actually thought it had crashed (add a spinning wheel so it's clear that it's still loading).
