Players praise Neverwinter's engaging combat system and accessibility as a free-to-play MMO with a solid D&D universe setting that can be enjoyed without spending money. However, the game is heavily criticized for its aggressive monetization model with extensive time gates on progression, where players can spend months to complete single campaigns, and numerous systems that push players toward real-money purchases rather than rewarding regular gameplay.
Returning player here. Within 5 minutes of joining the game, account server disconnected. It kept happening over an over again. Even when writing this, I was restarting the game. Unable to authenticate: Lost connection to Account Server. Game is unplayable. I have a stable connection that works fine for competitive games.2 found this helpful

0 out of five due to the game not loading at all. If it wasn't free I wouldn't suggest paying anything. Even free it's a waste of time on Stream since you can't do anything to fix the issues since checking the install files has been disabled.
Lore rich Faerun setting with unlimited options on what to do. With regular updates and new events/campaigns this game is going to be around for quite awhile.
