About Dunk Dunk
Dunk Dunk is a basketball game unlike any other, mixing a unique cartoony aesthetic, the strategy and precision of basketball with the chaotic fun of multiplayer arena platforming action, making for some nail-bitingly tense matches.
Play alone, with a friend or a house full of friends. Dress up your mascots and dunk basketballs, balloons or even anvils in crazy locations from all over the universe like space stations, dinosaur parks and haunted houses. It's dunk or be dunked (on).

Plays like your favourite platformer with familiar and simple controls meaning anyone can take to the court and start dunking.

AIM & THROW – Total 360° analogue arm control allows you to AIM, THROW and slam DUNK the ball at the exact angle you want.
BLOCK & DEFLECT – Defend your goal! Extend your whole body for a stretchy block or deflection to keep your opponents from scoring. Or, become a platform to help your teammates reach that hoop.
FEINT & SHIELD – Fool your opponent with a fake throw or shield the ball by holding it out of your opponent's reach.

Play solo or co-op with a friend in Quick Match, or against increasingly harder opponents in Galaxy Tour, Challenge or Cup modes. Or take on a friend, or up to 16 friends, in local multiplayer across the Quick Match, Mutator Madness and Tournament modes.

Want to play as a purple-robo-vampire-shark? We got it covered. Customise your characters with hundreds of different body parts and more than 2 and a half million procedural team and player names. Who knows, there might even be cameo appearances. Wouldn't that be cool?

Play across 8 unique arenas from all over the universe. From an underwater lab to dinosaur times and a marooned space station, each arena has its own special features.

My kids and I play a lot of old-school NBA Jam because we love the chaos and fast-paced mania of it, and recently, we've been switching to Dunk Dunk because it offers so much of the same awesome gameplay, but in a fresh new way. The basic basketball premise is offset by a surprisingly strategic rhythm of offensive and defensive play, and the way your characters shoot, dunk and block requires a little bit of skill to master, but makes the experience so much more enjoyable than a lot of basketball games because you feel like you're actually in control. This game deserves to be played by a lot more people, and if you like to play games on your couch with controllers (particularly with your kids), it's a slam dunk!2 found this helpful
Dunk Dunk is a brightly colored, physics-driven arcade sports game that reimagines basketball as a chaotic, cartoonish party experience. Developed by Badgerhammer Limited and published by Playtonic Friends, the game is far less interested in realism or simulation than it is in momentum, improvisation, and shared laughter. From the first match, it’s clear that Dunk Dunk is designed to be approachable, energetic, and deliberately unpredictable, leaning hard into the idea that sports games can be just as much about comedy and chaos as competition. At its core, Dunk Dunk revolves around short, fast-paced basketball matches played in a 2D arena space. Players control squat, stretchy characters whose movement and actions are governed by exaggerated physics rather than precise athletic realism. Movement consists of running, jumping, air dashing, and stretching arms in any direction to grab, throw, block, or dunk the ball. The control scheme is simple enough to learn in seconds, but the physics-based interactions ensure that no two plays ever unfold the same way. Even a straightforward pass can turn into an accidental trick shot or a disastrous turnover due to momentum, collisions, or poo…1 found this helpful
This is such a fun game, I've really been enjoying playing Dunk Dunk both in multiplayer & single player modes. It's got a great variety of levels, really fun game play and it has an amazing art style too. I also really liked the addition of custom characters. I'm looking forward to playing more of Dunk Dunk! Great game!1 found this helpful
Simple and fun, basically a basketball platformer which can get pretty chaotic with 4 players. Fun party game!1 found this helpful
1v1s are good fun, but this game really shines in 2v2s with friends, it has the perfect amount of chaos and room for outplay. My main complaint would be that block is very weak, there are a few ways it could be improved balance wise IMO. Also it isn't always clear when you've gained possession via a tackle. Well worth the asking price, we had a 3/4 hour super fun session with 4 people so already way above £6 in value.
This thing is really weird, down to all the nitty gritty details like the controls and art style. It's almost psychidelic. Like a car wreck you can't look away from. Oh, the gameplay? Yeah, it's ok.
