its an ok game 7/10 It doesn't have all the bells and whistles most rougelikes today have its very simple some stages are reused for some missions but areas change every 10-20 stages a cute game for sure some voice acting so thats good to see. you are forced to choose items with each stage or battle area so sometimes you get a really bad item for completing a stage or it will decycle your good item/upgrade. an ok experience but theres much more flashy rougelikes for less price.2 found this helpful
A roguelike journey through the Uncertain where you tackle random objectives, collect unpredictable perks, manage candles and teeth, and face growing dangers while earning seeds for permanent upgrades. The game takes place in the Uncertain, a realm meant for lost souls. You are one of them, but instead of wandering endlessly and turning into something sinister, a mysterious host allows you to inhabit a new body. With it, you can leap into a Hole that might lead to safety. The journey is unpredictable, and the path forces you through a sequence of random stages filled with hostile creatures. The gameplay follows a roguelike structure. Each time you enter the Hole, you choose one of three random objectives that must be completed to advance to the next stage. This choice is important because every objective is paired with a gift granted the moment the stage begins. A gift can be a perk that enhances your main attack or your dash, a special attack, or a general perk that provides a constant benefit. Perks tied to attacks and dashes activate automatically each time you perform the related action. The special attack, however, requires a brief recharge before it can be used again.
