Entity Strike is a top-down survival shooter developed and published by Tropical Pixel Studios that blends roguelike progression with fast-paced, arena-style combat. Designed around short but intense runs, the game places players in the middle of overwhelming enemy swarms and challenges them to survive through clever build planning, quick reflexes, and strategic adaptation. While clearly inspired by modern survival-bullet-hell hybrids, it attempts to differentiate itself through a stronger emphasis on pre-run customization and persistent progression systems. Each session begins with a preparatory phase in which players select their loadout, choosing weapons, skills, and upgrades that define the direction of the run. This early decision-making adds a layer of strategic foresight before the chaos even begins. Once combat starts, the pace escalates quickly. Enemies spawn in escalating waves, forcing constant movement and awareness. Standing still for too long can result in being overwhelmed, and positioning becomes as important as raw firepower. i like it. ill follow its ea journey to see it evolve. auto aim and fire is a huge plus for me! most days after work my hands are too thrashed to mess with button mashing combo games, so this is very welcome.1 found this helpful
I've been playing the game for over two hours now. It's too early to judge it on the first play through. I got way more excited after replaying the Survival mode three times after unlocking new weapons! There are many surprises every time I unlock more features.
