Please keep in mind that this game was originally in Spanish, and was probably translated at home. It's not perfectly translated into English, and there are a few lines that were not translated here and there. It's definitely the creator's first attempt at a game, but I Loved It despite some of the glitches I encountered. There are main-story puzzles and optional puzzles, which I thoroughly enjoyed hunting down. I thought the story-line was fantastic, and while I put together some of the major clues early on, you really don't get the full picture until the end. Escape Yourself is aptly named and filled with a variety of puzzles. It can be very frustrating, but I found it extremely rewarding as well. 100% would recommend to other players that can forgive some Spanish trickling through, and love a good challenge. I'm excited to see the studio improve their game play, because I thought this was a strong beginning.
I never finished this one, but had several hours of fun. It seems that the dev is a fan of the series "Dark" or maybe those posters were random Easter eggs. Cool nonetheless.
I cried in this game The story was wonderful ,The game was super frustrating that I basically consulted a walkthrough the entire time and the grammar issues did prevent me from understanding . (The user is Spanish speaking so it's pretty understandable!) But damn the story was great, I cried so much. I won't spoil but to anyone wanting to play please know that the pronouns are all over the place so you'll have to use context clues.
Bad Point & Click game. Missing QoL in every aspect (such as skipping dialogue). The clicking boils down to frustrating pixel-hunting.
I absolutely ate this game up in one sitting. The details and the story line was fantastic!
I guess this game is not for everyone after reading the reviews, but I have a lot of hours invested in it and many playthroughs. I will say it is a bit disturbing mentally, but it is a well built game. It challenges you to obtain completion. There are 2 issues with that, first no save, meaning it autosaves. So if you accidentally open a door and missed something, you must start over. Secondly, my personal issue is not being able to locate all the puzzle pieces. This is where a guide or walkthrough would be helpful (the one on YouTube skips too much detail). I would still recommend this game as it really makes you think about your moves and actions. There are a couple of really hard parts in the game, but I have gotten through them, so anyone can.
