Moebious: Endless Dream

Moebious: Endless Dream is a short, escape-the-room game. It is a familiar scenario. You wake in a strange, locked room and must puzzle your way out. In this game, your objective is to discover an 8-character code to exit. Between you and the way out are a combination lock, a safe, a locked drawer, and computer password. Sounds easy, right? First, the game does not save. So, although most clues remain the same, some change every time you start the game. The desk key is always in a different place, so your first chore is to figure out where it is hiding this time. Then, you must collect inventory and redo whatever you’ve solved previously. Only then, are you ready to move forward. It took me some time to realize that, once a document has been found, there is no need to retrieve it again if you have made a note of the clue. This makes the lack of a save option less painful. Evidently, I am not as smart as I think I am. Or, perhaps I do not have the mindset of a hacker. After 2 hours, I had still not cracked the safe. The ‘try this and try that’ with dates and words (converted to digits) was wearing thin. I have 4 of the 8 characters I need to escape but this is no consolation. I…
