About Etheldia Pepper

Etheldia Pepper is a monster taming RPG inspired by titles such as Pokemon and Final Fantasy.

Colthan the Rabbit wants to marry the girl of his dreams, but to do so he must first become a knight.
In order to attain knighthood, Colthan must defeat elders from each of six rabbit tribes.
Along his journey Colthan will traverse deserts, mountains, rivers, beaches, snowlands and even take to the skies.
Colthan can recruit friends he meets along his way to aid him in his quest, and with a little help from the magician Caraway he can even fuse with elemental slimes to attain new powers.
Meanwhile, back in the town, conspiracy is rife.
Can Colthan solve the mystery and become a knight to fulfill his dreams?

With sixty species of characters to recruit and open ended progression letting you choose which elder to fight and when, Etheldia is a short and sweet game with almost infinite replayability.

I'm only an hour or so into the game and so far I'm really enjoying it. It takes a little while to work out a few things like recruiting monsters to your team and how your monsters stats work but once you do its really fun beating NPC's with a levelled up slime that you spent ages training. I have only battled the first elder so far in the game 1 of 6 and the rest of the time I have spent exploring and talking to NPC's as there is lots of unique dialog that seems to change as the story progresses. There is some nice music and cool monsters so If you like retro art with turn-based RPG gameplay, this could be something to spend some time playing.

The game was really fun, and there are a lot of cool mechanics in the game. Having seen the game grow over time, it was exciting to get a chance to play it. I finished the game, after beating all of the elders. It took a little grinding to get strong enough to face them, but nothing terrible and it was not a laborious process. At the end of the game, I have a really strong palm tree, so I cannot complain. It took me a awhile to discover that you can chance your party when indoors, and the credits were a little slow, but I had a good time and enjoyed the experience!
