I played this when I was much younger just over 30 years ago natively in DOS. This is a re-release wrapped in dosbox with no other discernible changes, complete with a scanned copy of the manual for documentation. The core game itself is <16MB, but the game runs as a CD-ROM image with tracks for music complete with a .cue file, which takes up ~454MB. I would buy Sid Meier's Colonization or Imperialism 1 over this unless you have nostalgia for this game specifically. This has no improvements whatsoever over the original release that I can tell. There are graphical glitches in some screen transitions in towns due to dosbox emulation. That alone makes it worse than the original release. Would have been nice for them to update anything about it, but I suspect the source code is lost.36 found this helpful
