About Fire Magician: Arcana

The story follows the homeland of Tarot, the Wheel of Fortune, which has been invaded by mechanical poker cards from the future.
Players take on the role of the returning magician, "Arcana,"
who gradually regains their power with the help of the survivor, "The Fool."

The magician can use flame abilities to dash between enemies.

Cards Infused with Wind and Fire Elements


Imbue your attacks with wind and fire, striking and piercing through enemies.

This game was originally a university project. After graduation, we reformed the team,
refined and optimized the game, and uploaded it to the Steam platform for those interested to play.

"Fire Magician: Arcana" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from somewhere in China. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. The students made an almost convincing third person platformer shooter where you control a little anime girl, run around some almost challenging platforms, shoot some stuff... hey, if this was a complete game instead of an unfinished and unpolished student project, and was released on consoles instead of PC, it might even be successful. really fun pretty easy to play at least for me manage to teleport to the boss without breaking the shield so that was nice spam F = easy win

Its okay, The character design is really cool Sometimes it is unclear where to go, Controls sometimes feel a bit off Hitting enemies doesn't "feel impactful"

It's fine, but the camera goes crazy when using the movement buttons (at least with keyboard and mouse)

Currently unplayble due to the following: cannot jump over gaps camera rotation stutter. unclear instructions in the overall map/after teleportation
