In a time long forgotten, when the world was still young and newly sung into form by the Gods, humanity lived gently within nature’s pulse. They moved with the tides, the seasons, and the shifting winds — yet unlike the other creatures, they were fragile. They had no claws for defence, no fur for warmth, no wings to escape the storm.Seeing this, the Gods gathered with the spirits of ocean and mountain, plant and animal, and forged a sacred pact. Each being would offer humanity a gift — warmth, shelter, food, guidance — and in return humans would honour and protect the balance of the world. Thus the first totems were given, and the bond between humans and the living land was set.But the Gods saw a deeper truth. Humanity carried within them a spark none of the other beings had: the gift of the mind — the ability to imagine, remember, reason. A gift bright enough to build worlds… or to break them. They knew that if the mind ever drifted free from nature’s rhythm, it could lead the people astray. So the Gods gave Fire — not only to warm and cook, but as a living presence, a guide, a ritual tether to keep the mind balanced with the breath of the earth. And they asked the Dragon, eldest of the ancient beings, to watch over what humans could not carry. The Dragon agreed to hold the deepest secrets of a good life — to guard them in the dark, and return them if humanity ever forgot the path. For a long age, the pact held. Dragons roamed the skies, spirits walked openly, and humans lived in harmony, guided by ritual and flame. But epochs passed. Memories faded. Power whispered. Rituals were abandoned, Fire was taken for granted, and the mind — unanchored — wandered into jealousy and greed. The old beings withdrew into myth, waiting for a time when they would be needed again. As imbalance spread, nature rose in warning: winds that tore, floods that reshaped valleys, Fire that cleansed. From this upheaval, a new age dawned — one of uncertainty, but also of possibility. Now, in this era of renewal, echoes of the old pact return in the dreams of a chosen few. Drawn to a land where the presence of the Gods still lingers, guided by the quiet voice of Fire, you are one of these seekers. The Dragon sleeps, but its promise remains.Let Fire light your way as you journey to awaken what was forgotten — and rediscover the secrets of living in harmony with a world that still remembers you.

First impressions: No subtitles during the first immersion cutscene where the voice actor has a very low voice changing effect going on. during my .3 hours of gameplay, I observed multiple floating entities that didn't detect I was observing them, therefore they should begin their actual movement animations and not be floating "t-box" entities. I also kept having entities and even firewood de-spawning in front of me before I could interact with them. FPS constantly dropped to 30fps even though my system could reach the 120 cap I set easily. This means something in the game is drawing a lot of that cost/energy unnecessarily. all-in-all, might be interesting if these bugs are fixed, but it is just too much bad vibes to keep for now.

I was honestly really intrigued by the idea the game was offering, with a delve into a culture and history I don't often have access to, and the concepts that were being explored, specifically about living with the world and not from it. However, there's no use in having an incredible idea if the game itself is not playable. Between terrible load times, weird audio balance and distorted audio in general, controls that don't always work as indicated, or even resources that disappear because I changed the angle of my mouse by a couple pixels... just for it to not reappear? I can't even seem to figure out how I'd survive a night if I can't collect firewood. There are also other accessibility concerns with some settings like splitting volume controls, how text actually shows up on screen, or windowed mode just not working, and I am wary of how the culture inspiration disclaimer at the start of the game was written. Essentially, nothing about this game feels ready to play, and definitely not ready for launch.

Needs a LOT of controls work and UI work. GREAT idea though.

This is one of the most unique games I've played in a long time. Instead of rushing from objective to objective, it encourages you to slow down, explore, and immerse yourself in a world that feels alive and deeply connected to nature. The setting is absolutely stunning. The landscape is beautiful, and the atmosphere, weather, and sound design make exploration genuinely relaxing and rewarding. The dream-guided gameplay and totem animal abilities add a nice twist. I also really enjoyed the mythology and storytelling. If you're looking for an open-world adventure with beautiful visuals, a unique spiritual atmosphere, and a story that's unlike the usual fantasy games, I highly recommend giving it a try.

I really wanted to like this game, but I am asking for a refund. The premise is really interesting but gaming motion sickness is a real issue for me and the primary reason I'm asking for a refund. To see anything that is interactable, I have to be in first person and that is where it is the worst, mouse moving around strafing is extremely stuttery and the game settings do not stay to what I specify. General advice for the dev: Without some small amount of initial truly guided guidance (like you have for target practice) would go a long way towards helping this... it gets frustrating fast just trying to figure out the interaction keys to do basic functions. I know I need food, drink, and fire, it was not that I couldn't find them. I couldn't interact with them unless I turned a specific way or had it in first person mode. I don't want a hand hold the whole way, but initial this is wood, this is water, this is berry... and this is how you collect them... would have been useful and wouldn't go against what you're trying to share here. If people can't get an initial foothold into the game at all, they will never stick around long enough to see what you've made. I spent a while tryi…

Beautiful atmosphere that's easy to get lost in. Literally there's no map! This game is wonderfully put together, i've done about a third of it, and cant wait to get back into it tomorrow.
