Absolutely fantastic! Better than Skyrim in every way. There are so many interesting choices and builds, I was already planning my second playthrough before I had finished my first.

After finishing Tainted Grail, I've gotta say. An amazing game. The atmosphere, lore, sountrack and the enviorment is just great. Though this game is not deprived of flaws, I feel like the main plot and side quests make you appriciate this game a lot. I've gotta say. The final quest can feel really disapointing for some. I kinda got disapointed too. Not beacuse plot wise it's bad (of course it depends on the ending you choose), but beacuse it's extremly fast, like reading through a comic panel, wich can kinda destroy the tension that was building up through the whole game. I really liked act 3 on it's own, but the final mission is rushed, I have to admit that. I also saw some complains about the game being too easy even on strongest difficulties, but this argument I kinda don't get. Since it is a singleplayer game, you can weaken yourself significally, like getting worse weapon on purpose or not using all points, so it is not like you can't prevent the game from being easy at all. I'd say the graphic is alright, but the things you see from far away look gorgeus. You have to rremember it's still an AA game, so don't expect to see AAA graphics. What this game is about is the great p…

I am surprised at the vast amount of content and quality in this game. There is always something engaging happening. You get to be rewarded for your efforts and every victory feels like you have overcome something. The threats are genuine, the story is deep, and this is the perfect example of a game that the world has been needing.

I've been looking for a Skyrim-like game for ages after playing it 5+ times, and couldn't find anything that quite matched the style of game I was looking for. Then enter Tainted Grail. Amazing worldbuilding, graphics/animations, voice acting, the whole works. I was hooked from the first five minutes. I only wish there was an option to chop wood which, as I learned very early on, is even harder to get than gold. And though it may sound like a request from a spoiled Bethesda gamer, it would definitely be nice to have the console command option available in case of dire issues like broken quests or NPCs. None of that is going to stop me from playing the game, though. This is a labor of love and perfect homage to the grimdark fantasy genre.

boy did this game trick me. they padded the first few hours with enough content to make you think it's an intricate fresh new RPG in a fresh new setting with interesting story, combat, and quests. instead it's actually another generic fantasy RPG. *semi open world (map is broken up into progression zones) *world is NOT HR giger freaky bio fortress stuff. it's generic fantasy. cookie cutter LOTR fantasy world. *story..... BAD, in act 2 and I could not care less about king arthur, or this troubled land. *difficulty - either easy, bonk, kill in 1 hit, or very hard unkillable enemies. do sidequests to increase your numbers, trivialize content, enter next progression zone and bandits 1 shot you. do more side fetch quests, repeat.

game is good, very good even. only thing that is bad: the constant bugs... reminds me very much of skyrim...
