Flashing Dark

It started well. Buggy, but well. Had the style, had the aesthetics, and who doesn't love the modern trend of lighthouse keepers? I have hardlocked myself twice in the game already, and found ungodly amounts of grammatical mistakes, but nothing a restart and a benefit of a doubt to a non-native speaker couldn't fix. That is until the ending section where it turns into a very clunky shooter which irritated me so much, I dropped the game, and just decided to watch a letsplay instead to see how it ended. And for nothing at all, if I'm being honest. All the build-up leads to absolutely nothing, and just like another island media - Lost - questions are posed, peppered with questions on top, and not a single answer given, or even a hint on one. Such games usually take the hearts of players by good narrative, cool plots and mysterious twists, but, unfortunately, it seems like the writing looked like a list of cool things: a train, a chest, a gun, a naked dude, a mysterious intruder, a suspicious boss, a cave, a dead police squad, a twin sister, a postwoman knowing your name - but whoever wrote it just couldn't have bothered to come up with what it all means or why anything on the list h…

They ran out of budget at the end.

great game, it has mystery, suspense, and horror. and the ending had a great twist. btw if you can't see in the cave just turn the brightness up. still very dark but much more manageable.

This is a good game I will be recommending this to people.
