The goal is simple: Land the plane. But the task is not simple. The ancient computing system limits and slows down your ability to direct the pilot, with only a small time-frame in which to act. This is frustrating. The game feels frustrating. But if you can keep your nerve and act quickly, you can land the plane. And that feels pretty great. A lo-fi game, within a small, fixed settings - but with those restrictions, is able to generate real challenge and tension. This would pair nicely with A Hand With Many Fingers, which achieves something similar with similar constraints.

this game is neat and simple. i had a fun time improving and figuring out the game play. it takes a bit of time and once you get a rhythm you can win and there isnt much more but who needs more. its perfect, a small masterpiece. not everything has to be exceeding your expectations to be enjoyed. i like the game. its worth it.

Seriously a great game, I'd pay for a longer game with a full story. You've managed to fit emotion and fear in such a small and simple yet unique game. Please do consider making this longer! It's a great game and you should really take this far.

Very good!! Slight learning curve, good sound design, and only slightly clunky controls. The first 10 minutes of the game was very hard trying to understand what was going on. A slight tutorial would be nice, but not having one adds to the stress of the situation, and after the fact I really appreciate that. Only 3 pilots crashed before I saved the one, however, their deaths allowed me to learn the system a little more each time. With no end screen besides the skull on the right screen, it gives you ample time after making a mistake to take another look at what went wrong and why.
Tips (spoiler only open if in desperate need of help):

Memorize the Command and Question codes (C 1-5, D 1-4)

Going up or down in speed changes by 3-5 km/h per command

Interesting facts:
Minimum speed: 4 km/h Maximum speed: 99km/h Pilot can send messages after death if you spam codes before they crash. Bug at the time of playing that disabled the outgoing option making it impossible to send the pilot messages sometimes.

Absolutely painful user interface, and a pilot who is only capable of saying "I'm scared" with no context. You are given no information before the flight is already in trouble.

(First; thanks devs, after a few minor hitches after first booting this runs buttery smooth now, night and day from when I tried it before! Well done!) OK, let's get this out of the way; this game is really, really tough. If you have a second screen or other device you can use to have to PDF manual up and in view at all times, rather than relying on switching screens in-game, I highly recommend it. Even with that, this took me about a half-dozen attempts to get through. You're trying to guide a plane down. The "pilot" is, apparently, either just out of their depth, or possibly an untrained passenger taking over... it's not clear, because your communication is limited. You can only send a set of basic number-letter codes, and responses are coded in turn. You need to guide them through the correct procedures to deal with turbulence, pressure differences, storms, and so on. And communication isn't ideal; maybe you *told* them to open the flaps, but does that "ping" mean that they're saying they did it, or asking you to repeat the transmission? Better go to the "incoming transmission" screen to see and, hmm, what does "A3" mean, better go check the manual, and... ohh, they've crashed…
