Floating Life2 is an expansive indie cultivation RPG that aims to simulate an entire life within a traditional Chinese fantasy world, blending open-ended role-playing, sandbox progression, and narrative-driven events into a single, ambitious experience. 1. UI is lacking: For instance closing a page requires one to locate and click the 'x/escape' button, why isn't a right-click or left-click on another window is allowed instead? Each animation (ie in the casino) cannot be skipped/forwarded, player is forced to sit there waiting for it a play out, not exactly my idea of a time well spent. 2. Storyline: Non-existent in any form of english that I can understand. 3. Shallow depth of world: NPCs are non-interactive. Conversations and relationships do not appear to matter, friends/enemies what does it matter. Player's actions in the world do not appear to make a difference. Conclusion: World feels dead. At the current state of the game I cannot not recommend it.

Im really enjoying the game. My only issue related to the English translation. At few place is missing(partially or entirely), or few word not correctly translated, or left untranslated. Also sometimes i see text overlays, but nothing serious or game breaker stuffs. Hopefully the Devteam increase the English translation Quality in the future, but fully playable the game. PS: When you join to your very first sect via the story, the cutscene is completly left untranslated.

If you’re expecting this to scratch that Tale of Immortal itch, it won’t. The roadmap is still incomplete, and it’s unclear whether the developers are actively working on the game, even though it’s been available since October 27, 2023.

I'm starving for more cultivator games, but unfortunately, this just isn't it. I see the vision, there's some neat ideas here; but the execution is sloppy, and the translation, while serviceable, is still very sloppy. Maybe I'm just not patient enough with it.

An Interesting game, needs some modding to get the english to work, but it was a good time. Repetitive, but a good jumping off point to build something bigger. Too bad it didnt quite take off, and has been abandoned for about a year. Cheers to what you made though!
