About Flow Weaver

Flow Weaver is a "multidimensional" VR escape room game. You are a Flow Weaver, a powerful wizard-traveler familiar with the dimensions of magic. Trapped and shackled in a closed cell with only a few objects around, you need to use your powers to learn about the Flows of this strange new world -- and learn about your captors.

Features:

 • A seated VR experience
 • Fully voiced narrative dialogue featuring Ciarán Strange (Borderlands 3) as the Flow Weaver
 • Beautiful original soundtrack

In this 2.0 Update:

 • Significant bug fixes throughout and additional voice lines to help the user experience

Observe and experiment with your environment to learn the magical laws of Kelemspar. Challenge your wit and ability to think outside of the box with multidimensional puzzles.

Immerse yourself in beautifully-rendered realms as the story unfolds.

Transition between your cell and different dimensions (or “Flows”) as you discover them, learning how each Flow affects the world in different ways. Gain allies, learn new magic, and uncover the secrets of your captors to orchestrate your escape.

Flow Weaver is made with the generous support of the Canada Media Fund, Ontario Creates and the Games Institute.
Experienced on the Oculus Quest 2
You can view my review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/sZg7HmGa_XE This is a narrative driven puzzle game / escape room. It took me a little over 3 hours to complete this game, although I did have to cheat and look up some of the solutions online as I was completely stumped. The puzzles range from very easy to challenging. However, they're all very logical and if you play close attention, you should be able to solve them without having to look up answers online like I did. There are several cut scenes and narrated portions to this experience. I enjoyed them. I thought the voice actors did a good job and I enjoyed the story for the most part. Although, I have to say, it does end rather abruptly and on a cliff hanger. The visuals are not the best, after all, it is a Quest port, but they did a good job with the port and I thought the different themed locations looked good overall. Plus the music and sounds were nice. This has better production values than the vast majority of puzzle games. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a steady 90 frames per second. I did not experience any issues or bugs. Game does…

loved the game, felt immersive, had a couple of times where i got super mad but ended in me looking in the mirror and calling myself an idiot because it should have been obvious, 8/10

* Extremely short * somewhat buggy (sometimes buttons don't work, hand disappears until restart) * some progress is not saved between sessions * some really illogical puzzles * open ending

pretty average experience, i enjoyed it at times but a bit too much walkthrough needed as clicking things more than once in places to progress... same with some buttons that need to be pressed with grip button. speech sometimes cuts out to so i would recommend subtitles on. some nice ideas poorly executed occasionally. overall only play if you have patience but check a walkthrough as it might be a slightly buggy click needed.
