For Her wastes no time pulling you into its premise—playing as a police officer who crossed a line for his family, the game leans heavily into guilt, consequence, and the idea that truth doesn’t stay buried. It’s a short, 40–60 minute experience, but it uses that time well, delivering a focused psychological horror story with a strong atmosphere and a clear narrative direction. The first-person, walking-sim structure keeps things simple, allowing the tension and emotional weight to carry the experience rather than complex mechanics. Where the game succeeds most is in its tone and pacing, but its simplicity is also its biggest limitation. Gameplay is minimal, and while the story is engaging, it doesn’t always dig as deep as its premise suggests, leaving some moments feeling a bit underdeveloped. The short runtime works in its favor for pacing, but also means there’s little room for expanded mechanics or deeper player agency despite hints of multiple outcomes. Nice little horror game with a good atmosphere and an interesting story. I do think the second half wasn't quite as strong as the beginning, but for the developer's first game and considering how short it is, I still had a really good time with it.1 found this helpful

Such an underrated game. It was brilliant start to finish and i recommend it to everyone. Also at $3 AUD (60% off) that is a massive steal - props to the developer(s) on making such a wonderful game. Cant wait for the next one :). 8.5/10
Solid game, spooked me a lil bit here & there. Would recommend 8.5/10
This game is short. As in two playthroughs can be completed in less than 2 hours kind of short. You only need to do it once if you manage to avoid dying, which is not hard, just don't stand there when the game tells you that you can run by holding shift. The story is not well written, in fact, the story is comical and bad. My usual metric for whether or not a game is worthwhile is that I want to get at least 1 hour per dollar spent. This ain't it, even at 60% off. If you're easily scared, this might give you some anxious moments. But at no point did I really feel any tension.
