not a bad $1 game of some dude that brings the casket of his wife to his apartment block and doesn't seem to care that much about his wife haunting him + the demon creature spookin him. only thing that was bad I guess was the sudden endings after choosing something plus having to play the game all over again to see the other one. too bad I couldn't warm up my cold soup in the jet engine microwave before it blew up the entire houses power system only leaving on some tv playing ear destroying sounds :( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnuYIRj7COM3 found this helpful
For £1, it's not bad. Pretty depressing, but I feel like that's telegraphed by the game's title. Keep in mind that my review is from the POV of a streamer. I didn't get all the way through. There's far too many super-loud and needless jumpscares that're cheap and difficult to watch. For a solo adventure though, maybe it hits better.3 found this helpful
Pretty solid little horror game. A few good jumpscares. I think it's the developers first and for 99 cent, I'd recommend it.2 found this helpful
Forgive me, my love is a dark indie horror game from a single, new developer. Spoilers may be involved in this review. This game is about a husband who's mourning the loss of his wife, who recently passed. Believing the death is his fault, he begins experiencing hallucinations. In this game, you mostly walk around the house of this former couple, experiencing the mans grief and jumbled thoughts. This was a decent game, especially by a single developer who is new and unexperienced. Much of it is just walking around, but it makes you feel uncomfortable, it makes you feel watched, like something is peering at you in the darkness. (it is) Unfortunately, I was not a big fan of how many jumpscares were in the game. I wish that it had more building of atmosphere rather than relying on seriously loud jumpscares a lot of the time. There was a part of the game that really freaked me out (you'll have to watch my video to see it), but a lot of it was jumpscares that broke my eardrums. I don't find that fun. Audio definitely needs balancing, things need to not be either silent or extremely loud, but that and building up more atmosphere and less jumpscares are really my only negative feedback…2 found this helpful
I'll start with the only positive I had with this game, The ghost design was creepy. That's it... Personally, I don't give a f*ck if it's the devs first game. If it sucks, then it sucks. And believe me, this game sucks. The scares are terrible, the story could've been written by a fifth grader, the graphics are laughable, etc. I also don't care if the game is short, I've played plenty of great short horror games. But this one is just atrocious. I know it's only a dollar, but I feel like I was honestly ripped off. To the dev, put some more time into the next game you make. Even though you said it wasn't rushed, it damn sure felt that way.1 found this helpful
