About For The Fatherland
Will You Be Worthy and Defend the Fatherland?
6 June 1944, the greatest military invasion in human history begins with over 150.000 Allied soldiers landing in Normandy to face the German Wehrmacht and bring an end to the Second World War. The German Reich has been taken by surprise and for the first time since 1939 it is at risk of a defeat. You have been given the glorious task of stopping the Allied invasion and defending the German territories on the Western Front.

- Predetermined tower spots in realistic positions
- 15 tower units including a German Rifleman, a Sniper, a Machine Gunner, a Flamethrower, Flak 88, Tanks, and Planes

- Unit upgrades for increased damage and more unlockables

the game feels like eating concrete in the gameplay part pausing the game makes the camera go somewhere else for no reason towers dying is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying thers a lot of german stuff out of the game like mp 40, sgt 44 and a lot of german guns this is not how you make a tower defense and the game is abandoned by its creator save your money1 found this helpful
At first I didnt like this game cause thought it off, until i learned how to use the units properly and understood what the game was trying to do. After an hour gotta say this game is amazing for what your paying for. The music is eloquent and fits the mood perfectly for this game.
A neat game with no depth. For 3,99€ it may be worth your time. It was fun for couple of hours. It has some minor flaws but what to expect for that price :D Yeah and finally a tower game where you play as the Germans :) For The Fatherland!
So i have finished the game and i like it
*The entire game can be described this way* Nice demo of a game... Wait this isn't a demo.
For a first-time game, it was pretty good. Yes, it has some bugs, and more units and upgrades would've been nice but all around a solid game. The developer continues to work out the bugs and is very responsive in the discussions. I will say the last mission is very tricky if you don't do your units right. Good Game coming from a new developer hopeful to have more games available in the near future.
