I held off buying this game for so long and I wish I hadn't. This is by far one of the most enjoyable RTS games I've ever played.1 found this helpful
I cannot stretch how great of a ww2 RTS title this game is. First of all id like to mention the difficulty of getting into it. This RTS is clearly not made for people new to this genre. It requires atleast a basic understanding of how RTS games work and is not as easy as for example a total war game or company of heroes. That said it is also its strength. This game is perfect for people who play rts games who want an even nitty grittier game to play then whatever you played before. Every unit has weight and depth with the unique inventory mechanic which is special in the rts genre. Every tank has weight having its own crew and every individual part being rendered and damagable like warthunder. Its realism combined with the nice UI's that i appreciate is just great. The specs are another thing. You need a decent pc to run this. Its not meant for potatos. Now the crown jewel. The different built in "playmodes" inside the gameplay which makes this ww2 rts stand out specificly above others. It gives you the option to switch between birds eye view classic rts control to third person shooter mode and birds eye view direct unit control. This adds new layers to the genre which i could …
i wish more people played this game. endless patterns of war. never gets old. i had done conquest as a german and had over 60 days of fights and only few losses to the USA. so 100 hours was from that lol. campain is great too. i hope they dont give up on this game anytime soon.
intense and fun with friend.
IMO the definitive WW2 RTS experience. The Dynamic Campaign mode has eaten days worth of my life and I basically never get sick of it. Challenging, but not impossible by any means. The DLCs are a bit expensive but buying them on the many sales they go on makes it worth it. 9/10 would get demolished by field gun spam again
Probably the best RTS game in this genre with mods. mowas2 still has a certain charm that is irreplaceable and i keep going back for that but this game is by far more modern with more potential in mods and better graphics.
