About Fore Score

Fore!

Fore Score is a fast-paced multiplayer miniature golf game, with a twist! Build the hole as you play, alternating between putting the ball and placing hazards on the course, competing to score the most points while sabotaging your friends!

Finishing the hole within the time limit will award you with points. Bonus points are awarded for finishing first, fewest strokes or hitting a hole-in-one!

Choose a golfer, then your ball, and start putting! Each round, players choose from a random selection of obstacles to modify the hole. Place down bumpers, windmills, cannons, and blocks, creating new challenges and shortcuts. First player to reach the target score will win!

Build the hole as you play

Features

  • Multiplayer fun: Supports up to four players locally or using Steam Remote Play Together
  • Unique twist: Each round, players add new obstacles to the hole to make it more challenging and chaotic for your friends
  • Easy-to-learn controls: Fore Score is designed to be accessible and fun for players of all skill levels
  • Endless possibilities: With a large variety of obstacles to choose from, no two rounds play out the same
Notice: This game is meant for multiplayer. While you could play solo against yourself with two controllers... it is meant to be enjoyed with a friend or three! Controllers are recommended but not required.

Do you enjoy heated profanity and delight in ruining others' lives? Then this game is for you! A delightful fusion of Ultimate Chicken Horse (minus the animal cruelty) and Golf With Your Friends (without the wonky camera), Fore Score is somehow chill yet competitive while being forgiving toward various skill levels. Some features I would realllllly like: -Online multiplayer please! -On the scoring page, would be nice to include a picture of each player's character in addition to the name. I keep forgetting if e.g. Marty is the dude/fly/snowman etc. and this would make it clearer -Sometimes the obstacles we can pick from end up being all stationary blockades (e.g. castle, lighthouse, hamburger, hot dog, train, car, domino, etc) or all fire/TNT. Suggest balance the spawn weighting so that this doesn't happen or at least increase the weighting of traps -Increase the number of obstacles you can add in between each round to 2 per player if there are only 2 people (feels like the game ends too quickly otherwise) -Larger maps (can get crowded quickly with max number of players) -More map variety e.g. elevated terrain, sand, -Singleplayer option / practice mode Other stuff that would be…

Fun game to play with the family. The game is never same twice, as all the players are choosing and placing the obstacles between each round.

It's a small studio golf game with a good premise and nice stable remote-play multiplayer. I'll update this if I find any issues, but, so far so good.

Fantastic party golf game! Only downside is having to use steamplay or whatever to play online.

I very highly recommend playing with a controller for all players. Keyboard is accessible, but it is a bit more difficult to get the shots lined up perfectly. That being said, it's a game of entertainment and frustration. Depending on the attitude of the other players you're either going to have a hilarious time, or a time of aggravating frustration with maybe even some yelling and cursing. I enjoy the idea and concept of being able to place obstacles during each turn, especially as it feels strategic over time. This can lead to some rather chaotic rounds as you try to navigate the newfound obstacles strewn across the courses. Remote Play setup is quick and incredibly easy to get started, just make sure the host defines the input for the other player.
