About ROUTINE
█ ROUTINE is a First Person Sci-Fi Horror title set on an abandoned lunar base designed around an 80s vision of the future.Curious exploration turns into a need for survival when a lunar base goes completely quiet. Searching for answers puts you face to face with an enemy who is certain the main threat is you. Discoveries lead to deeper unknowns and the only way to go is forward. ▌Note: ROUTINE offers no waypoint markers, finding your way is part of the experience. Slow down, observe your surroundings, explore carefully, and review data to uncover the path forward.█ EXPLORE: Roam through contrasting sectors of the lunar base, from deteriorating living quarters and tram stations to an abandoned mall. ▌█ OBSERVE: Investigate your surroundings and uncover crucial information to progress and piece together the events that unfolded before your arrival. ▌█ IMMERSE: Full body awareness, diegetic audio, and minimal UI help create a gripping and atmospheric experience. ▌█ OPERATE: Your Cosmonaut Assistance Tool (C.A.T.) is vital. Use it to access critical terminals, navigate the environment and identify clues. ▌█ SURVIVE: Run, hide, or attempt to defend yourself against unknown threats using the C.A.T. as a last resort. ▌

The puzzles are ruining the game and it genuinely makes the game unenjoyable. There is no way they spent 10 years working on this game just to make people rage quit because of puzzles (I gave up at chapter 4 Kali's Locker Puzzle) and sad thing is that I was enjoying the scary parts of the game, jumpscares are actually scary, the monster is scary, story is cool and I found this game unique, but I am stuck and have to uninstall the game because of a stupid ass puzzle. I wish that at least they'd added an easy mode that at least gives us players more hints and make it more like a tense walking simulator, and players who wants to suffer with the puzzles could still play it as it's original mode but i guess they didn't want just anyone to finish the game.2 found this helpful
The game sounds and looks 10 out of 10. It's very atmospheric. BUT No one and nothing tells you what to do in the game. The plot is conveyed only through notes, audio, and video recordings, and nothing is explained. The second half of the game is much worse than the first, and the ending is nothing special.
