FPS Infinite

Phroot's games are always unique for sure! Very enjoyable game, a metroidvania fps with multiple abilities, secrets to find\unlock and random generator to make every full game run different? yes please! Pros -Combat is very simple, blast away at each other. although if you're able to manuever around a solid object say a wall, the enemy will still be pointing towards where they last saw ya. so you can flank, sneak attack etc on enemies. -Music is pleasant -every run has a randomly generated seed option so no two runs are ever the same. a pro \ con - a big variety of tools n weapons, bummer you can't enable them ALL in a single (generated) run. (i think) - can beat a run in barely a hour or two. Cons -There are hardly any options to edit controls though, they do have instructions on the discussions board for how to edit your FOV settings n stuff too! -The ending was very hard to know what to do unless you had context from the game(s) this one was inspired by. Bummer there wasn't anything more indicative to show\tell you what to do for the ending. (such as on the map) but i ended up reading on the discussion board how to beat the ending.

I understand what it's going for, I just don't find the result well done

theres a weird visual bug that causes the ui to flash and entire horizontal sections of your screen to become grey, similar to that of a vcr scrolling, its very annoying and causes the game to generally be worse to play

Игра FPS Infinite – это динамичный, но, к сожалению, довольно вторичный шутер. Геймплей, безусловно, быстрый и яростный, с постоянным потоком врагов, заставляющим держать палец на спусковом крючке. Арсенал оружия разнообразен и каждое оружие ощущается по-своему, предлагая разные тактики боя. Графика выполнена на достойном уровне, хотя и не хватает оригинальности в дизайне уровней. Однако, игра страдает от отсутствия свежих идей. Сюжет банален и предсказуем, а сами механики стрельбы и передвижения мы видели уже сотни раз в других шутерах. Отсутствует какая-либо уникальная фишка, способная выделить FPS Infinite на фоне конкурентов. В итоге, игра вполне способна развлечь на пару вечеров, особенно если вы фанат жанра и не ждете от нее откровений. Но будьте готовы к тому, что после прохождения вы вряд ли запомните ее надолго. Это неплохой, но совершенно проходной шутер, который мог бы быть намного лучше, если бы разработчики добавили немного больше креатива и смелости в свои решения.

Back when 3079 came out I loved it, played all the way through it! Then 3089 came out and it felt like progress, I loved it too. Then 4089 was a nice departure from the norm. Then 5089 released and I liked it, it was interesting but starting to get a bit worn. Then 8089 came out and I was excited to play it. Until I played it, it felt like steps backwards. Then I played this and I..... like it. But it really could be fantastic if it was fleshed out and polished. I would pay money for that. Overall just disappointed because it feels like the same thing over and over. Like the developer doesn't grow or try for new things. The potential for one ultimate killer game is here in all of these games but I fear it will never be realized. Keep churning out the same thing with slight tweaks over and over, forever I suppose.

At least 2 hours in offline mode. Great game, I can't believe it's free, even. Hits a great procedurally generated Metroid Prime feel, like it says on the tin. The enemies aren't the most exciting, but the exploration and platforming are well done.
