About Freaky Trip
Put your imagination to the test and go on a freaky rescue trip. Help rescue Salcy’s beloved cockapoo from unknown danger in which she was sure to find herself. In Freaky Trip you will encounter many logical puzzles, which you can find everywhere. Watch your surroundings carefully and use everything that might be helpful – even if it seems unusual.

(NON)OBVIOUS SOLUTIONS
In this game, puzzles are not as easy as they might look like – as everything around you. Think outside the box, be unpredictable, and succeed on every level, to be an egg forward. Remember that sometimes the most unbelievable answers are the right ones. Try all possibilities and ask for help if you are stuck at any point.

FREAKY CHARACTERS
Meet surprising characters on your journey with Salcy, but don’t even bother to think if they are real – they somehow are. Try to help them and they will return the favor. Hey, have you seen this big buffalo merchant behind the tree? No? That’s weird, I'm sure it was standing there…

CARTOON GRAPHICS
Falling into the world of Freaky Trip is much easier thanks to colorful and cartoon graphics. Progress through this twisted story and watch how the riddles surprise you and make you laugh with every second.

Players appreciate the charming art style and quirky humor inspired by Amanita Design games, but the experience is significantly hampered by technical issues including frequent click registration failures, objects not appearing on level load, and occasional sequence inconsistencies that force frustrating restarts. Beyond the bugs, complaints include the game being too easy and short for the price, unnecessarily large file size, and a trial-and-error puzzle design that some find unsatisfying, though the accessible difficulty level appeals to those seeking a casual, kid-friendly experience.
I would give this game a neutral rating, but unfortunately this option is not provided. Between a positive and a negative assessment, I choose the second option with the hope that the developers will pay attention to this and possibly release a patch to fix the game in the future. In general, the game is a simple humorously - absurd sketch, with the aim not to force you to strain your brains in solving complex puzzles, but on the contrary, turn off logic and use only imagination and the craziest ideas in solving problems. It is very noticeable that the developers were inspired by projects from the studio "Amanita Design" especially the game "CHUCHEL" But instead of a sweet cherry, we chase a cute chicken and get involved in various accidental situations. The picture in the game is quite high-quality. Artist's pleasant artistic style is pleasant to look at, and the soundtrack of the game is also well done and fervently. Overall, it would be the perfect game to turn off your brain after a hard and stressful day and just laugh at the funny adventures of the character. I am also sure that children would really like this game. But all this joy is negated by disgusting optimizatio…15 found this helpful
The expressive art style and neat presentation bamboozled me into thinking this might be a functional game. Unfortunately, it's full of bugs to the point that I spent more time dealing with them than actually solving the (rather simple) puzzles. Clicks will often fail to register and objects will often fail to appear when starting a level, forcing you to restart until everything shows up. But then it's hard to tell when things are missing if the level isn't obviously broken and you've never solved it before... It also takes up over 11 GBs of disk space for no good reason. It's a 2D point & click game with a small amount of very simple assets, it shouldn't take up more than a few hundred MBs. The artists did a great job here but it seems the programmers dropped the ball. It's a shame, this could be an alright game if the bugs were fixed.3 found this helpful
I'm in between yes & no on recommending this game.. only because it's really buggy. If it were more polished, it'd be almost a 100% yes. It's a cute and cozy game but feel this is a little TOO easy LOL. If you crave to play a really easy, quick point and click game and/or have kids that would enjoy a teeny bit of critical thinking, I think this is an easy puzzle game to enjoy. However, the game DOES get a little buggy towards the end that it gets a little frustrating.3 found this helpful
Pros - Nice art-style and animation - Charming quirky characters - Interesting environments Cons - The game-play is that amanita design style of puzzle where its just click everything until you get the right sequence. It can feel a bit unsatisfying and frustrating in my opinion. Just not my cup of tea. - Unfortunately while the art-style is lovely for some reason there are thick black borders on all sides which kind of spoils it. This is not evident from the store page. - I had one show stopper where I was stuck and after restarting and performing the same sequence the scene played out completely different. - Its incredibly short, I left the game running a bit so my time is overstated. Overall its not great and certainly its over priced but if you get it on a steep discount then its not a bad way to spend an hour.1 found this helpful
Poorly polished, clicking on an item takes about 10 times of trying.1 found this helpful
