About 奕剑江湖
✦ AI summary
Battle eight players in a dynamic jungle arena where you strategically combine hero skills, attributes, and talent trees to counter opponents in an ever-shifting competitive landscape. Success depends on mastering rock-paper-scissors style matchups across skills, damage types, and talents—forcing you to constantly adapt your build rather than rely on any single dominant strategy.
Gameplay
This is a game that combines the jungle melee of Warcraft and the self-propelled chess.
The game has 8 players, who fight in a jungle map, and the one with the highest score wins the game.
Heroes are mainly divided into three categories: Strength, Agility, and Intelligence. Each hero has different speeds and attributes, as well as different attack trajectories, attack ranges, attack types, armor types, and talent skills.
Players need to constantly build their own skill combinations through development during the game process, achieving a series of skills with additional effects. At the same time, there is a mutual restraint relationship between skills, and constantly thinking about their own construction strategy while competing for development is the key to winning the game.
Game Features
Skills rivalry: there is a clear mutual restraint between skills
Type Restriction: The restriction of attack type and armor type (applicable to all damage)
Talent Incompatibility: Heroes have different talents, which are mutually incompatible
The above three situations may vary depending on the circumstances, so there is no fixed so-called invincible routine in the later stages. Constantly changing heroes and skills is a way to counter the enemy, and teamwork is the foundation for victory.
Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile app
奕剑江湖 is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. There's only a superficial "game" here. This mobile app is a cheap Chinese ripoff of DOTA2 only designed for mobile phones and infested with some really nasty P2W mechanics... weapons and other stuff you need to win are paygated through the in-game cash shop. As PT Barnum is attributed to saying, "There's a sucker born every minute". And two to take them. It's just a veneer wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. The true purpose of this mobile app is to get you to hand your credit card details to the greedy mobile devs so you can buy stuff in the nasty cash shop... it's a mobile app cash harvester, and has no place in your game library. There's no English translation for the this, but that's okay. The language of bad products and mobile app scams is universal. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge ga…1 found this helpful
