Paper Realm: Path of the Immortal is a Roguelike survival strategy game set in a world of Eastern cultivation. classic roguelite growth systems, it combines thrilling gameplay with a unique paper-sculpted visual style. Characters and environments appear like 3D paper carvings, brought to life with shifting light and shadow to create a serene yet mystical fantasy world.Play as a cultivator striving to survive wave after wave of incoming beasts. Master divine arts, refine artifacts, practice powerful techniques, join sects, trigger random events, and tame spirit beasts — all in the name of survival and ascension!

- 🌿Level up as you fight and gain EXP! In the world of cultivation, your journey goes through stages like Qi Refining, Foundation Building, Core Formation, Nascent Soul, and even higher realms. Each stage is split into early, mid, and late phases. Advancing a minor stage boosts your stats, while breaking through to a major stage lets you unlock new abilities in the talent tree.
- 🌌etween each enemy wave, you’ll enter the ‘Rest Realm.’ Take a breather, but don’t forget to spend your Spirit Essence to study new spells, forge powerful artifacts, master cultivation techniques, join sects, explore trials, or even tame spirit beasts—everything you need to prepare for the next monster onslaught.

At the start of the game, you are given a choice between two characters from a roster of fifteen. The remaining characters are unlocked in the usual survivor-style manner, either by defeating a certain number of enemies or completing specific number of stages. Each character comes with distinct stats, a unique starting weapon, and an exclusive perk, though these differences don’t significantly affect gameplay, as all characters essentially handle the same way. The core gameplay follows a familiar pattern: survive waves of enemies, collect money to strengthen your character, and rely on an auto-fire system to handle attacks. The game takes place on a single, small circular stage, which limits visual variety; the main variation comes from encountering new enemy types each wave. Every fifth wave introduces a mini-boss, though it appears only in the final seconds of the wave, making it nearly impossible to defeat before the wave ends.
