I start with a small group of workers and have to gather resources, build up my facilities and keep expanding before I reach the final objective. The game is built around a short twenty day run, so I always feel like I am working towards something instead of playing an endless management game. The building system is where I spend most of my time. I can buy and expand different buildings, with higher levels improving resource production and other useful effects. Every building also helps shape my deck, which determines what actions I can take during the daily action phase. I like the way these systems connect because building something is not just about getting a bigger number.
