Not the best, not the worst, but the power creep gets insane and the limitations are vexing. Regardless, I can see the devs getting better in the future. I give it a 7/10.2 found this helpful
Is the game fun? - Yes the game is fun and a good use of dungeon management and time consumption in the first 5-10 hours Is it worth 22 bucks? - Personally no, i think i got this from humble monthly but the game itself really drags on after the first 5-10 hours where you are likely without proper understanding of vendors and placement of dungeon rooms going to find it really grindy with very minimal reward. I only ended up completing all achievements just to see how long it would take, and based on my playtime which is where i stopped playing after recieving all achievements thats how long it took. - Personally its not a horrible game, it most definately needs work and a better progression system if they want to keep people playing past the first 5 hours, but if you manage to get it on sale for less then 10 dollars id say its a fun little game u can have running on the side while doing other stuff. Good - Fun dungeon design system and interesting use of decoration to = popularity - Enjoyed the monster variety at first, and using souls to upgrade them seemed cool - Styles and options for decorations is quite vast Bad - Grindiness becomes much more apparently after a while w…1 found this helpful
After completing all the achievements in under 24 hours, game was worth it. Got it from humble bundle picked it up after a while. Do survival first and look up what everything does tutorial is not 100% on how to get stars etc.
after 2 hours it got repetative with a long grind and casino like features to make you get hooked but once you play one of these games you have played them all, it needs alot of work and alot more monsters instead of a massive grind.,
Now I can finally trap my enemies AND become a millionare
Im going to recommend this game with some big caveats: I know this game is still in development and has a roadmap but i feel like there should be some items in the research tree/or just changes to how mobs work, as well as some QOL changes for this game to shine. Disclaimer, i haven't looked online for strategies or min maxing, not how i like to do things personally. i feel like the game design should lend itself to discovering better efficiency, but im starting to hit some walls and might look online. Note i have been playing in Relaxed mode, and as you will see i don't think its really relaxing xD I feel like revenue generation is too slow. i don't know if i haven't found the secret sauce yet or what, but i have vending machines in multiple locations, and my prices are lower than the default. but it seems like heroes don't use them as often as they should. Almost no one uses the energy machines and they will sometimes go through the dungeon twice. Same goes for the goblin grill, i have had it in my "lounge/entrance" area and in the middle of an active combat zone, no one is buying food. if they do its maybe one or two. The only way i have seen improvement in revenue is simply…
