中国棋牌博物馆 (Yandra Studio)

Welcome to the Chinese Board Game Museum

A living archive of Chinese board, card, and tile game culture. Classic games from across China, from palace tables to hutong alleyways, bringing together centuries of folk wisdom. Every game is researched from historical sources, implemented with hand-written rules, and verified by the community to faithfully restore the distinctive play styles of different regions.

Four Curated Categories

• Shedding Games — China’s most popular type of card game. Race to empty your hand through combinations of card patterns.
• Trick-Taking Games — Team-based contests where strategy comes first, and every trick hides another layer of play.
• Mahjong Games — Regional Mahjong rules from many places, each with its own scoring system and style of play.
• Special Games — Unique local games you will not find elsewhere.

Faithfully Recreated, Worthy of Trust

Every game in this collection goes through:

• Dual-source historical research — each game’s rules are cross-checked against at least two independent sources
• Hand-written rule implementation — no vague automatically generated rules; every edge case is handled explicitly
• Regional variant support — switchable options recreate local “house rules” and family play styles
• Ongoing updates and maintenance — rules are corrected as new sources are discovered, with every change recorded in the update log

Multiple Ways to Start Playing

• Play Against AI — Adjustable AI opponents, from beginner level to tournament strength. Some games include neural-network-based models trained on tens of millions of games.
• Steam P2P Multiplayer — Create or join rooms through Steamworks networking.

No Ads. No Tricks.

Buy once and own it forever. All games, all variants, all updates — everything is included. We believe good software should respect your time and attention. This is a cultural preservation project first, and a product second.

A Museum That Keeps Growing

The Chinese Board Game Museum is an ongoing project. As rule research continues, new games will be added regularly; existing games will also continue to receive rule fixes, AI improvements, and visual polish. Your purchase directly supports the recording and preservation of China’s folk board, card, and tile game traditions.
