A Chinese board game that combines strategy and tactics. The gameplay is for two players, where each player controls an army made up of different pieces, each with unique abilities and moves. The main goal of the game is to capture the opponent's “general”, which is in line with the concept of chess, but with its own unique rules and mechanics. The game takes place on a rectangular board divided into 9 vertical and 10 horizontal lines, and the playing field has unique areas such as a “river” that restricts the movement of some pieces. A solid and classic Xiangqi game that does what it should. The AI bots are fun and offer a good challenge at different levels, making matches enjoyable and fair. Everything runs smoothly with a clean, no-nonsense presentation. My only wish is for more Steam achievements, which would add extra motivation and replay value. Overall, a good Chinese chess game and easy to recommend.
